Teaching Methodology

The main duty of the educators is to facilitate, teach, accommodate and monitor the learning situation. The following points are prescriptive but they are all part of the habits of successful teachers:

  • Have a syllabus / curriculum
  • Have a scheme of work which breaks the syllabus down into terms, sections, cyles and weeks with time allocation
  • Be prepared for every lesson
  • Plan lessons in such a way that the learners are kept busy with well defined tasks
  • Be punctual for every lesson

Starting Time
  • All educators are expected to report daily at  7:40am
  • The siren goes at 7:45am for learners and teachers to the assembly which lasts for 10-15min.
  • Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday (morning devotions)
  • Lessons commence immediately after assembly (Monday and Friday) at 8:00am.
